I have always been drawn to everything outdoors. When I was little, I would invent secret lives for the wildlife I observed—dragonflies on undercover spy missions, blue jays setting up house for the first time, lizards trading war stories around the campfire at night. This fascination has developed into a deep respect for the natural sciences and a desire to bring attention to the creatures that we share the world with in a lighthearted way. Everything has a history and a story, and my paintings are a playful reminder that even the tiniest ant has had her own unique experiences.
